Mainstream appoints new CFO

Energy Disrupter

Julie Berg will take up her role as the firm’s new CFO in the second quarter of 2024, Mainstream said on this week.

Mainstream is majority-owned by Norwegian energy developer Aker Solutions. Berg was previously CFO at the Aker Carbon Capture subsidiary.

Prior to joining Aker Berg spent 23 years with global accounting firm KPMG, including as head of the company’s audit and assurance group in Oslo.

At Mainstream, Berg succeeds Paul Corrigan, who had served in the role since 2020. He will now become the company’s commercial director.

“I am delighted to welcome Julie to Mainstream,” Mary Quaney, Mainstream’s CEO, said. “Julie is a highly accomplished leader in her field; she brings many years of experience including within the Aker group, and a passion for the energy transition.”
