Nominations for Texas geothermal lease sale now open

El Paso, Texas and the Franklin Mountains (source: G. Lamar / flickr, Creative Commons) The Texas General Land Office is accepting nominations for tracts of land for an upcoming Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Lease Sale.
The Texas General Land Office (GLO) has started accepting tract nominations for their next Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Lease Sale tentatively scheduled on 7 May 2024.
All nominations must be submitted, in writing by 5:00 pm CT on February 1, 2024 to:

Austin, Texas 78701-1495
More than one tract may be included in the nomination letter. A USD 100 nomination fee must be paid for each tract to be nominated.
