bp Egypt has been awarded the King Mariout Offshore area (KOA), with a 100% bp working interest.
This award, with the EGY-5 block awarded earlier in 2022, provides a solid foundation for bp’s ambitious development plans in the offshore Nile Delta.
bp Egypt is leveraging its existing infrastructure to continue delivering resilient and focused hydrocarbons for Egypt’s growing gas market. bp Egypt will drill an exploratory well and conduct 3D seismic imaging in the awarded block.
