Renewables firm Cloudberry Clean Energy has been given the green light to acquire 100% of the holding company developing a 100MW wind farm in Sweden’s largest lake.

Construction of the 16-turbine project is due to start in 2021 or 2022, Cloudberry stated.

Cloudberry expects to have closed the transaction for Scanvind2 later this month.

It currently owns one 2.4MW operational onshore wind farm, according to its website, and has also developed and then sold a 131.8MW portfolio of online onshore wind farms.
