Happy holidays and a blessed new year from ThinkGeoEnergy
ThinkGeoEnergy wishes all of our readers a happy holiday season and all the best for the coming new year. We will be back on the 1st week of January 2024.
With the year about to come to a close, our team will be taking a break this holiday season to spend time with our friends and families and recharge our batteries for another year. Our last newsletter for the year will be published on the 19th of December 2023. We will then be back on regular news reporting by the first week of January 2024, with the next newsletter to come out on the 9th of January.
As usual, we will be starting off 2024 with our much-awaited Top 10 Geothermal countries and the Top 10 stories from 2023. We will also be taking a look back at the interviews that we have done in the past year, which has been one of the many ways that we have helped industry stakeholders share our global platform.
We will also be launching our new reinvigorated research initiative early next year. This is something that we have been working really hard on, and we are very excited to share more details about.
The past year has been another huge one for ThinkGeoEnergy. Our team continued to grow with the hiring of a new Regional Manager for PiensaGeotermia, a new Research Manager, and a new Social Media Manager. Our website readership remains healthy at around 1.3 million pageviews and more than 500,000 unique visitors.
With the recognition that behavior on content consumption has changed, we have made an earnest effort to push our stories and features more on our social media channels. Our LinkedIn page continues to grow steadily (currently at ~30,500 followers), and we now have more activity on our Instagram and Twitter pages as well.
A huge positive change in the past year has been resurgence of geothermal events around the world. It has been a pleasure for our team be present in some of these events, particularly the WGC in Beijing, EU GTS in Berlin, NZGW in Auckland, and GEOLAC in Cartagena.
The coming year is shaping up to be a huge one for growth in the geothermal industry, with projects being developed in many regions and emerging technologies nearing breakthroughs. ThinkGeoEnergy will be evolving as well with new initiatives and partnerships within the industry. We cannot wait to share more details with you.
On that note, the ThinkGeoEnergy team with JeotermalHaberler and PiensaGeotermia wishes everyone happy holidays filled with peace, love, merriment, and time spent with your loved ones. May we all welcome the new year with renewed optimism and passion for building a better world.
