Germany’s largest private geothermal developer and operator Deutsche ErdWärme is planning and building geothermal systems that the company will operate . Deutsche ErdWärme’s commitment to the region is reflected in the choice of Karlsruhe as the company’s headquarters, where we have been operating since 2015.

Deutsche ErdWärme specializes in deep geothermal energy and plans geothermal systems with state-of-the-art technology. By 2025, we want to generate renewable electricity and heat from geothermal energy at several locations on the Upper Rhine and create offers for a successful energy and heating transition on site.
Thanks to the support of our main shareholder Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Deutsche ErdWärme has the financial prerequisites to be able to plan long-term and sustainably.
