King’s Speech outlines UK plans for state-owned energy player

Labour’s plans to launch Great British Energy as a publicly owned developer, owner and operator of clean energy projects were confirmed in the King’s Speech yesterday (17 July), alongside bills to streamline permitting and drive investment in UK offshore wind.
