Fugro to conduct geotechnical seabed surveys for Dogger Bank South

RWE has appointed Fugro to conduct geotechnical seabed surveys for the Dogger Bank South offshore wind development project.
The findings will give RWE a detailed and accurate picture of the ground conditions, which will aid the energy company in designing the optimal foundations and array cables for the sites.
This investigation marks a major step forward in developing the Dogger Bank South (DBS) projects.
Based on an estimated combined capacity of about 3 gigawatts, once fully commissioned, DBS could provide green electricity for the equivalent of approximately three million UK homes.
