After 40 years the final edition of the OER International/Ocean Energy Resources magazine has been published this week.
The international media landscape has changed a lot over the years. We have gone from print to html already years ago. The dominance of online news websites is a clear trend. So as from now we turn our focus completely to our web- and newssite www.ocean-energyresources.com including our posts on social media channel LinkedIn.
In this final issue, we feature the world’s first offshore transfer lifts of wind components by the Heave Chief 1100, the first power produced by Dogger Bank, the installation of artificial reefs by TenneT, and the commercial test of HYBRIT’s hydrogen storage.
We will report further on the decommissioning of wind farms and we wave goodbye to Sander Vergroesen, the IRO director who retires on 1 February, 2024 (article in Dutch language).
