ThinkGeoEnergy and IGA announce media partnership for WGC 2023 Media partnership between IGA and ThinkGeoEnergy for WGC 2023

ThinkGeoEnergy and the International Geothermal Association have formed a media partnership to mutually promote the 2023 World Geothermal Congress in Beijing, China.

ThinkGeoEnergy and the International Geothermal Association (“IGA”) are proud to announce a media partnership for the 2023 World Geothermal Congress, taking place on September 14 to 23, 2023 in Beijing, China.

With this partnership, ThinkGeoEnergy and IGA will support each other in promoting WGC 2023 – the premiere global geothermal event that regularly brings together leaders from the industry, academia, government, NGOs, and communities to collaborate on solutions for creating a more sustainable world.

In the coming months, ThinkGeoEnergy will be publishing content on the geothermal industry in China and other country updates. This all culminates in the on-site presence of ThinkGeoEnergy in WGC 2023, giving companies and organizations the opportunity to collaborate on content that will be broadcast to the platform’s global audience.

Carlo Cariaga, Editor-in-Chief of ThinkGeoEnergy: “We are extremely pleased to be working with IGA on an event as important as the WGC 2023. We would also like to invite everyone who will be at the event to get in touch with us so we can arrange for a quick interview, or to discuss how we can support them. Let us get the word out there that geothermal is the future and that it deserves a bigger spotlight.”

Marit Brommer, CEO of the IGA: “Partnerships drive Progress: I am delighted with the partnership with leading media outlet ThinkGeoEnergy. This will create impact through combining our strengths in messaging throughout the runup to WGC2023 and at the event itself. We have a solid story to tell the world – and together we can reach an audience beyond Geothermal.”

Both the IGA and ThinkGeoEnergy are committed to leading the global conversation on geothermal and connecting stakeholders and experts from different fields. WGC 2023 provides an excellent opportunity to foster these collaborations. Beyond WGC 2023, the IGA and ThinkGeoEnergy continue to promote a global and unified support of geothermal as a source of renewable baseload energy.
