MingYang commissions 16MW offshore wind turbine with 260-metre rotor

MingYang Smart Energy says it has commissioned its MySE 16-260 offshore wind turbine, noting it is now operating at full capacity in China. It has a rotor diameter of 260 metres and is able to withstand extreme wind speeds of 79.8 m/s, the Chinese manufacturer said in a social media post today.
