On Neptune Energy’s Q13a platform, programme director of the North Sea Energy programme – Rene Peters – explains which technological innovations for system integration are taking place around the platform on the North Sea.
On the platform itself, the pilot PosHYdon; world’s first offshore green hydrogen production is taking place.
Around the platform is the floating solar farm of Oceans of Energy. The Porthos project is working on the storage of CO2 in an empty gas field belonging to TAQA Group. In addition, a lot of wind at sea is being developed by Eneco and Vattenfall.
