Egdon Resources said Tuesday that Shell U.K. has decided to withdraw from licenses P1929 and P2304 in the North Sea.

The company said it will now consider its options, including the company’s continuing commitment to the licenses, and will discuss this with the North Sea Transition Authority.

“We will update shareholders once our preferred option and the NSTA position is known,” Egdon said.
