GustoMSC receives order for OSS

GustoMSC has received an order for the Operator Support System (OSS) onboard Penta-Ocean’s newbuild GJ-9800C.
The OSS will provide real-time guidance to the operator based on data generated by the jacking system and main crane that is extracted via industrial computers, called edge devices. This way, OSS safely unlocks the full potential of the GJ-9800C.
The order includes the NOV Max Data Platform that allows for data storage, sharing, visualization and analytics as well as applications such as OSS.Jack that provides real-time guidance during preloading operations, OSS.Lift that makes the crane operator aware of the limitations imposed by the combination of crane and jack-up and OSS.
Events which allows for digital logging and reporting of events triggered by an operator or piece of equipment, thereby reducing the administrative burden on the crew.
