SOVs are built to support 60POB and 100POB, respectively, to support the operation and maintenance (O & M) of China’s offshore wind power generation.
Both designs feature X-BOW and X-STERN, designed to optimize operational capabilities, functionality and economics, and better serve the renewable energy segment. Batteries are installed to provide an eco-friendly footprint.
“Shanghai Electric is a leading provider of offshore wind turbines in China and we are confident that these two world-class SOVs will bring more value to our clients and provide a safer working environment for our maritime colleagues,” said Ma Chengbin, General manager of Shanghai Electric’s engineering services company.
