ThinkGeoEnergy wishes Happy Holidays and a good New Year
ThinkGeoEnergy wishes you and your family a happy holiday season and all the best for the New Year.
ThinkGeoEnergy will be taking a break and will convene with news reporting in the new year, with the next newsletter to be sent again to our subscribers in the second week of January.
As in previous years, we will provide additional articles with a look back on the year 2021 soon in January. There are a ton of things in the pipeline for ThinkGeoEnergy which we will share with you early in the new year.
This has been an incredibly successful year for us and we are grateful for the reception we have been receiving. With the greater interest in geothermal across the world through the oil and gas sector, for decarbonising the heating sector and so much more, things are becoming really exciting. Scratching about 1.5 million pageviews (a growth of 40% over last year) and around 640,000 visitors (a growth of 63% over last year) things really moved into a different sphere for ThinkGeoEnergy.
Despite covid, we were even able to be part of the World Geothermal Congress 2020+1 in Reykjavik, Iceland. It was so great to see so many of our friends come to Iceland though it was sad having so many not being able to join.
But more on the ups and downs of last year, our annual Top 10 news pieces, the Top 10 countries of geothermal power and more will follow soon in the new year.
All for now is left to thank the team that has been so supportive this year, so thank you to Merve, Carlo, Carlos, Gladis, Teka, and of course Chris, Sorin and Bratislav.
We wish you and your families all the best for the holiday season, a good and hopefully better new year. We sure hope to see many of our readers in the new year again. Stay safe.
