As the former president of Rockwood Lithium Asia between 2011 and 2015, Gerrit Fuelling is currently working as an independent consultant considering the lithium extraction from multiple sources. Within the presentation further insights on the different extraction technologies and processes for Lithium will be provided, for example the extraction from salars and spodumene ore which are currently in operation. Furthermore the processes‘ impact on cost curves for Lithium products will be discussed, including price trends and recently emerged ESG issues.
