Pomona Choice Energy Partners with Emporia to Offer Discounted Smart Home Energy Devices

November 23rd, 2021 – Pomona Choice Energy is proud to partner with Emporia to offer Pomona residents access to essential tools to save energy, lower electricity costs and help the environment. The joint program will allow customers to procure Emporia Level 2 EV chargers, Vue Energy Monitors and Smart plugs at discounted rates. 

“We’re excited to offer our residents these devices at discounted rates to help them further their home efficiency goals,” said Pomona Mayor Tim Sandoval. “This program will make it easier for our community members to participate in the ongoing state-wide green energy movement.” 

The prices for an EV Charger, an Energy Monitor, and a Smart plug are typically $499.99, $39.99 and $9.99 respectively. For a limited time, Pomona Choice Energy and Emporia’s partnership allows customers to get these devices completely free of charge. The first 500 Pomona Choice Energy customers to sign up will receive a free Energy Monitor, and the first 1,000 Pomona Choice Energy customers will get a free Smart Plug. Customers who sign up after these initial enrollments will still receive a 20% discount on EV Chargers, a 37.5% discount on Energy Monitors, and a 32% discount on Smart Plugs.
