Spanish institution seeking partners to test a technological geothermal solution
A Spanish public institution is looking for a technological partner for a geothermal project funded under the EU’s Horizon 2020 program
A Spanish public institution is looking for technological partners who can aid them in assessing the actual potential of deploying a power plant for deep underground geothermal in the area near Ascó (Catalonia) in Spain.
The project is funded under the EU’s Horizon 2020 program. It will involve a geophysical survey to a depth of 2000 meters and temperature measurement using thermal probes. This technology has been well-tested and proven, although it has not been implemented yet in Spain. The methodology is currently at TRL 4 and is expected to reach TRL 8 by the end of this project.
The ideal technological partner should be well-versed in the deployment of the proposed technologies in a geothermal field.
Additional information on the proposed partnership are available thru the link below.
