Ørsted is celebrating its 1000th offshore wind turbine in the UK as part of the construction of Hornsea 2!
The UK has more offshore wind capacity installed than any other country, enabling them to power over 7.5 million UK homes a year, and Ørsted is responsible for over half of that capacity.
Once Hornsea 2 is completed in 2022, Ørsted will be able to provide clean electricity to over 5.5 million homes.
