Borssele 1 & 2 offshore 752MW wind farm now fully online
Developer Ørsted has now fully commissioned the Borssele 1 & 2 offshore wind farm in the North Sea, with 94 SG 8.0-167 DD turbines for a capacity of 752MW.
The wind farm, 23km from shore, off Zeeland in the Netherlands, will produce enough green electricity to power one million Dutch households.

The developer also announced it had partnered with Norwegian fertiliser company Yara in a project to replace fossil-based hydrogen with renewable hydrogen in the production of ammonia at the Sluiskil plant nearby.
