Next Geosolutions completed acquisition offshore vessel

Next Geosolutions Europe, a leading international company in marine geosciences and offshore construction support services announces the completion of the acquisition of the vessel Deep Helder from the Dutch company SeaMar Subsea.
Renamed NG Surveyor, the vessel will be utilized for geophysical, geotechnical, environmental, and UXO (unexploded ordnance) survey activities.
The acquisition of the vessel is part of the Company’s growth and expansion plans, as announced during the IPO phase, aimed at strengthening the fleet and meeting the increasing demand in the offshore sector.
The NG Surveyor is a ship built in 2014, with 64.8 meters long, 15.8 meters wide, and features a 500 m² deck space. Equipped with a Dynamic Positioning Class II (DP2) system, it can accommodate up to 48 personnel.
Following the vessel’s delivery, NextGeo will undertake refitting work to install high-specification equipment, including 3 Multibeam Echosounders (MBS), a Sub Bottom Profiler (SBP), and an acoustic positioning system (USBL).
