J-Power unveils ‘earthquake-proof’ foundation design for Japanese offshore wind

Japanese utility J-Power has unveiled designs for a new offshore wind turbine foundation it claims can withstand earthquakes and be cost-effectively drilled into the hard bedrock often found in Japan’s waters.
