Ørsted takes €1.6 billion hit on US renewables portfolio

Ørsted announced a DKK 12.1 billion (€1.6 billion) impairment for 2024 after its US renewables portfolio was hit by higher costs and its seabed leases plunged in value, while it also flagged a delay to its Sunrise Wind project.
