Utah FORGE publishes Wiki dashboard for open-access data
The Utah FORGE project has published a Wiki dashboard to provide access to the project’s technical data including geology, geochemistry, well data, drilling data, and GIS maps.
The Utah FORGE project has published a Wiki dashboard that provides easy-to-navigate links to open-access data hosted on the OpenEI platform. The Wiki dashboard can be accessed via this link.
The dashboard contains links to technical data on the Utah FORGE project. It is still in its preliminary stages but data on geology, water chemistry, drilling, R & D reports, well data, and project overviews are currently already available. The site will be updated over time.
The FORGE project began in 2015 to facilitate an environment where scientists and engineers can develop, test, and accelerate breakthroughs in enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) technologies and techniques. It is managed by the Energy & Geoscience Institute at the University of Utah.
Earlier this year, the Utah FORGE project published a video recap of the project’s objectives, current status, and future plans. More details on Utah FORGE project are also available in our webinar recap with Utah FORGE – Co-Principal Investigator Dr. John McLennan.
