The government has announced a significant strengthening of export work. They have particularly pointed to offshore wind and green, maritime solutions as strategic initiatives for Norway.

Innovation Norway, which is part of the Norwegian government’s business support system, is already well under way with this work through a number of strategic initiatives and the High Potential Opportunities program.

“We are now putting the business community in the driver’s seat on these initiatives to a larger extent,” says Eli Wærum Rognerud, Head of strategic initiatives in Innovation Norway.

As a result of an open tender competition, Innovation Norway enters into framework agreements with a total of ten different clusters and industrial partners. The value of the framework agreement is NOK 25 million over four years. The selected partners will contribute to the program with, among other things, market knowledge, project management, consulting and mobilization of companies and networks.
