About The Event

The African continent’s wind potential could satisfy demand 250 times over. GWEC recently launched Africa WindPower to establish a regional body representing the wind industry to create a platform to facilitate discussions between the public and private stakeholders to better understand how we can develop and deploy the build out this vast potential. This panel provides a stage for a such a discussion to take place.

Format: This event will be held in hybrid format in the Wind Pavilion, Hall 5, Blue Zone, Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, UK. Live streaming will be available for those who are unable to attend in-person.

Kindly note that only those who are already accredited for the COP 26 will gain access to the event. The event organisers are not able to provide passes for attendees.
