Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm has confirmed today that the 90th – and final – state-of-the-art wind turbine had been successfully installed at the project site, 32km off the coast of Lincolnshire.
This achievement marks yet another milestone in the project’s delivery schedule, which remains on track to complete turbine commissioning in 2021 and achieve final project completion in 2022.
Turbine installation commenced in January 2021 and installation has been completed on schedule despite the many challenges posed by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 90 Vestas 9.5 megawatt wind turbines were installed by Vestas and DEME Offshore using the jack-up Wind Osprey provided by Cadeler.
