ThermoChem in the U.S. is seeking to fill the positions of Assembly Technician and CAD Designer to support its international activities in the geothermal sector.

U.S.-headquartered company Thermochem has two open job positions for an Assembly Technician and CAD Designer.  The company provides chemical engineering, laboratory analysis, geochemistry, field testing services and products to a wide range of energy industries. From base operations in the Western USA and South-East Asia, Thermochem has served oil and gas, power generation and renewable energy companies for more than 30 years.

Job Description – Thermochem CAD Designer

Thermochem designs and builds highly specialized first of a kind system to continually enhance and expand the capabilities of the Geothermal Industry. At Thermochem CAD designers work closely with engineers, chemists, and technicians to develop raw concepts into refined equipment and complex systems. The range of design work spans everything from miniature ultra-high pressure valves, to multi-ton structural steel fabrications, to turn-key plant chemistry monitoring & modification systems. Thermochem CAD designers are creative, enjoy technically challenging projects, and the energy of a diverse, highly motivated team.

This position is full-time and includes benefits.  It is open to applicants with a minimum AA/AS degree or equivalent, and minimum five (5) years applicable work experience.

Job Description – Assembly Technician II

Assembly Technicians at Thermochem rigorously test new designs, work hands on to build new equipment and service highly specialized first of a kind systems designed to meet the diverse needs of the Geothermal Industry. The role of a technician is challenging, demands a broad workshop skillset, and is vital to Thermochem’s continued success in the Geothermal industry. In addition to basic machining & workshop skills, electro/mechanical aptitude, and responsible creativity, Thermochem technicians have a continued focus on safety and a commitment to producing quality equipment for our customers.

This position is full-time and includes benefits.  It is open to applicants with a minimum AA/AS degree, a relevant trade certification or equivalent, and minimum five (5) years applicable work experience.
