The first of 165 turbines has been installed at Ørsted’s Hornsea Two wind farm with DEME Offshore’s installation vessel Sea Challenger.
The world’s largest wind farm will feature 165 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW turbines, each standing 200 metres above sea level and featuring 81-metre long blades.
Hornsea Two borders the Hornsea One wind farm, where DEME Offshore was involved in the installation of the foundations, turbines and export cables.
