Home Energy Assistance Program Available to Sussex County Residents
Both Renters and Homeowners are Eligible
Newton, NJ. (March 18, 2021)- Are you struggling to keep up with your heating and electricity bills? Are you worried about how to pay for your next oil delivery? You may be eligible to receive aid from New Jersey’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). This program provides payment assistance to help individuals and families with energy costs like electric bills and fuel deliveries, as well as energy-related home repairs. Reach out to Family Promise of Sussex County for assistance with your LIHEAP application to determine if you are eligible for aid. This program is offered to both renters and homeowners alike. Applicants do not have to be on government assistance programs to qualify for LIHEAP.
