Vestas confirms 328MW of V136-4.2MW orders in Australia

Vestas has confirmed two orders in Australia, including the supply and installation of 52 V136-4.2MW turbines for the 218MW Ryan Corner Ryan Corner (218MW) OnshorePort Fairy, Victoria, Australia, Asia-Pacific Click to see full details wind farm.

The second order includes engineering, procurement and construction of 26 units of the same model for the second stage of the Berry Bank II (110 MW) onshore wind farm.

Turbine delivery is expected in Q3 2021 for both projects, with commissioning in Q3 2022.

Vestas has also agreed a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for both deals.

The two projects will provide clean energy to about 120,000 homes and will create 500 jobs during construction.

Greek order

Vestas also secured a 43 MW order from Mytilineos S.A. for the Makrynoros wind park in central Greece.

The deal includes the supply and installation of 12 Vestas V136-3.45 MW wind turbines delivered in 3.6MW operating mode.

The turbines come with a 20-year service agreement.
