Assistance is available for Iowans in need of heat this winter.The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program helps qualifying Iowan pay part of their heating costs.Assistance is based on household income and size, type of fuel and type of housing.Early application applies to households with someone at least 60 years old, disabled or facing disconnection.To find your local agency, call 21 or visit humanright.iowa.gov.
